I have had the privilege of being instructed by Slade. The rate at which I learnt surprised me. His methods make it easy to grasp the language and I have managed to retain what I learnt through Slade even though I am not among Spanish speaking people daily to practice. The Spanish Academy has sparked a lifelong passion for the language. Slade is the most phenomenal teacher I have ever had! His techniques are incredible and allow even the hardest concepts to appear easy and the course is so cleverly thought out and executed! As an added extra there are his unreal dad jokes which really just bring the whole thing together!! 10/10!!

I started learning Spanish with Slade in 2018. Since then I have been able to understand my Spanish friends' whatsapp group messages and have some conversations with Spanish friends in Spanish... I enjoy the classes with Slade and hope to travel and speak Spanish in a foreign country soon!

Slade is a great teacher with a unique style in helping you to absorb Spanish. I have tried other methods of learning Spanish in the past and failed abysmally until now. I thoroughly enjoyed the introductory level programme and will no doubt move on to intermediate at some point in the future.
